Os talibãs asseguraram, esta terça-feira, o controlo total do aeroporto internacional de Cabul. Os líderes do movimento extremista islâmico afirmam que deram uma "lição" ao mundo, após o último avião norte-americano ter descolado, marcando o fim de 20 anos de guerra, a mais longa dos Estados Unidos. Numa ação simbólica, os talibãs caminharam pela pista do aeroporto vestidos com a farda militar americana, assinalando a vitória, flanqueados por combatentes da unidade de elite dos rebeldes Badri.

The Taliban assured, this Tuesday, full control of the international airport in Kabul. The leaders of the Islamic extremist movement say they gave a "lesson" to the world after the last US plane took off, marking the end of 20 years of war, the longest in the United States. In a symbolic action, the Taliban walked down the airport runway dressed in American military uniform, marking victory, flanked by fighters from the elite unit of the Badri rebels.
