ברקע הקריאות שלא לסגור את מערכת החינוך, שר הבריאות הודיע כי הוא ידרוש סגר מלא למשך שבועיים : "צריך לתת לתחלואה הזאת מכה אחת חזקה וביחד לצאת לדרך חדשה"

ברקע הקריאות שלא לסגור את מערכת החינוך, שר הבריאות יולי אדלשטיין אמר היום (ראשון) כי הוא ידרוש סגר מלא לפרק זמן של שבועיים והסביר: "אנחנו בהתפרצות מאוד קשה, כנראה במצב קשה יותר ממה שהיינו בתחילת ספטמבר. כמו 2 מכוניות - מכונית החיסונים ומכונית הנגיף. לא יהיה מנוס מצעדים קשים. צריך לתת לתחלואה הזאת מכה אחת חזקה וביחד לצאת לדרך חדשה".
