أغلقت صناديق الاقتراع في مناطق من ولايتي إنديانا وكنتاكي، فيما تتواصل عملية التصويت في أماكن أخرى من الولايتين، بعد سباق محموم في الانتخابات الرئاسية الأميركية، التي جرت الثلاثاء بين الرئيس الجمهوري دونالد ترامب ومنافسه الديمقراطي جو بايدن، وسط انقسام في المشهد السياسي الأميركي.
Polls closed in areas of Indiana and Kentucky, while voting continues in other places in the two states, after a frantic race in the US presidential election, which took place Tuesday between Republican President Donald Trump and his Democratic rival, Joe Biden, amid a split in the American political scene.
وقد أظهرت النتائج الأولية فوز ترامب بولايتي كنتاكي (8 أصوات في المجمع الانتخابي) وفرجينيا الغربية (5 أصوات)، فضلا عن كارولينا الشمالية وميزوري وأوكلاهوما وتينيسي ومسيسيبي وألاباما، مع تقدم مريح في ولاية إنديانا.
Initial results showed Trump wins Kentucky (8 electoral college votes) and West Virginia (5 votes), as well as North Carolina, Missouri, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Mississippi and Alabama, with comfortable progress in Indiana.
