أعلن الجيش في ميانمار فجر اليوم حالة الطوارئ وتولي قائده السلطة في البلاد لمدة عام، وذلك بعد أن اعتقل قيادات حزب "الرابطة الوطنية من أجل الديمقراطية" الحاكم، وعلى رأسهم زعيمته أونغ سان سو تشي ورئيس البلاد وين مينت ومسؤولون آخرون كبار.
The Myanmar army declared a state of emergency today at dawn and its commander took power in the country for a year, after the leaders of the ruling National League for Democracy (NLD) party, led by its leader Aung San Suu Kyi, the country's president Win Myint, and other senior officials were arrested.
