Attenzione al vischio: così il 21 dicembre 1918, dalle pagine dell'Ohio State Journal, il Commissario alla sanità locale invitava i lettori a resistere alla tentazione del tradizionale bacio di Natale. «Quest'anno - scriveva - mostrerete più amore per vostro padre e vostra madre, per vostro fratello, vostra sorella e il resto della famiglia rimanendo a casa anziché andandoli a visitare per Natale, o tenendo feste o riunioni familiari».
