Wall Street Journal Editorial Board: Trump and his lawyers are leading America down a dark road
انتقد مجلس تحرير صحيفة وول ستريت جورنال (Wall Street Journal) بشدة استمرار الرئيس دونالد ترامب في ادعاءاته بتزوير الانتخابات، مشيرا إلى أنه تعامل حتى الآن بذهن مفتوح مع هذه الادعاءات، وحذّر من أن الاستمرار فيها سيعود على أميركا وعلى الحزب الجمهوري بعواقب وخيمة.
The Wall Street Journal editorial board strongly criticized President Donald Trump's continued allegations of rigging the elections, noting that he has dealt so far with an open mind with these allegations, and warned that continuing them will return to America and the Republican Party with dire consequences.
وقال المجلس في افتتاحية للصحيفة المحافظة التي يملكها روبرت مردوخ، عقب ظهور نتائج ولاية جورجيا التي أعيد فيها فرز الأصوات وأكدت خسارة ترامب، إن الجمهوريين منحوا ترامب مجالا واسعا لإثبات قضيته بتهمة تزوير الاقتراع، لكنه لم يقدم، لا هو ولا محاموه، دليلا بخلاف التلميح العام.
The council said in an editorial to the conservative newspaper owned by Rupert Murdoch, after the results of the state of Georgia in which the vote was recounted and confirmed Trump's loss, that Republicans gave Trump ample room to prove his case on charges of vote rigging, but neither he nor his lawyers presented evidence other than the general hint .
