העיתון האוסטרי "קרונן זייטונג" דיווח הערב (שני) על אירוע ירי בסמוך לבית כנסת במרכז וינה. ממידע ראשוני עולה, כי במקום נשמעו יריות רבות ושוטר נורה ונפצע באורח קשה. דווח כי שבעה בני אדם נהרגו באירוע. 15 בני אדם נפצעו, שבעה מהם במצב קשה. אדם אחד נעצר בחשד לביצוע המעשה.
The Austrian newspaper "Kronen Zeitung" reported tonight (Monday) on a shooting incident near a synagogue in central Vienna. Preliminary information indicates that many shots were heard at the scene and a police officer was shot and seriously injured. Seven people were reported killed in the incident. Fifteen people were injured, seven of them in critical condition. One person was arrested on suspicion of committing the act.
